Dr Noran Fouad

Lecturer in Digital Politics in the Department of History, Politics, and Philosophy

Noran is a Lecturer in Digital Politics in the Department of History, Politics, and Philosophy. Her research and teaching lie at the intersection of technology, security, and governance, with a focus on cybersecurity. Her research interests include critical approaches to cybersecurity in international relations, cybersecurity of the everyday, and the co-production of cybersecurity policies between human and non-human agency.

Previously, Noran worked as Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, where she conducted public policy research on cybersecurity in low- and middle-income countries and co-designed multiple executive education programmes and postgraduate courses for public policy makers on governing digital transformation. 

Noran is a Co-Lead for the Middle East and Africa stream in the Global Partnership for Responsible Cyber Behaviour (GP-RCB), launched by RUSI.
