Kate Ryabchykova

Ms Kate Ryabchykova is a Digital Fashion Designer and Lecturer in Fashion Technology at the Manchester Metropolitan University.She teaches Fashion CAD, 3D Visualization, and Creative and Digital Pattern Making units and works with Fashion Design and Technology students. 

Her academic experiences and research interests lie in Digital Fashion, 3D visualization in fashion, Innovative technologies in fashion production and fashion manufacturing, AI effect on fashion, Metaverse, and Virtual Showrooms. Kate is also exploring relationships between digital fashion and automatization as well as the integration of visual artificial intelligence and its effect on the fashion industry and fashion manufacturing. Recently Kate has also begun to explore the integration of robotics in fashion manufacturing as well as automatization. 

Kate’s professional experience includes working with large-scale fashion manufacturers and small-scale design houses, assisting in virtual sampling, digital pattern development, and digitizing production and design development processes.
