3.2px) * 0.645), 24px);font-style:normal;font-weight:300\">From clean energy to clean water, advanced materials provide the building blocks of innovation in a vast range of sectors and applications. As a materials chemist, you may design and develop intelligent products for areas such as health, energy, mobility and communication, as well as environment and climate management.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our MSc Advanced Materials offers the chance to get to grips with materials chemistry including the design, analysis and characterisation of materials. With a multi-disciplinary approach, we offer a fascinating combination of chemistry and project management to develop your professional skills and prepare you to join the next generation of materials scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is suited to talented chemists and scientists with a passion for analysing and creating innovative materials. With a core interest in materials chemistry, on this course, you\u2019ll develop an in-depth understanding of the relationship between the structure and performance of different materials, the fundamental principles driving the development of innovative products, and strategies for the design and development of novel materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-palette-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mmu.ac.uk\/study\/postgraduate\/course\/msc-advanced-materials\" style=\"border-radius:3px\">Learn more about MSc Advanced Materials<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:clamp(16.834px, 1.052rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.716), 26px);\">Collaboration with the Fuel Cell Innovation Centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the course will you have the opportunity to learn in collaboration with the Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (MFCIC). You&#8217;ll benefit from the research conducted in the MFCIC. The units on the course have been developed by staff in the Centre and the tutors you\u2019ll learn from lead on the teaching of topics at the forefront of our research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the units Innovative Materials, Nanotechnology and Applied Materials&nbsp; for Modernisation, you\u2019ll learn the scientific principles and phenomena underpinning materials chemistry.
