She was last seen as a passenger in a gold Volkswagen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The missing persons case was later escalated to a murder investigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/satellite.mmu.ac.uk\/northernquota-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/437\/2023\/02\/Alisha-Apostoloff-Boyarin.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10066\" srcset=\"https:\/\/satellite.mmu.ac.uk\/northernquota-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/437\/2023\/02\/Alisha-Apostoloff-Boyarin.png 1024w, https:\/\/satellite.mmu.ac.uk\/northernquota-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/437\/2023\/02\/Alisha-Apostoloff-Boyarin-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/satellite.mmu.ac.uk\/northernquota-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/437\/2023\/02\/Alisha-Apostoloff-Boyarin-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin &#8211; last seen one year ago<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00a059-year-old man linked to Ashton-Under-Lyne, was arrested on suspicion of murder in March 2022. He remains under investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detective Chief Inspector Liam Boden said: &#8220;Greater Manchester Police are continuing the search for Alisha and the investigation into her disappearance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We can confirm that Alisha travelled as a passenger in a vehicle to the Bishop Auckland area, County Durham on Friday, 14 January, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gmp.police.uk\/SysSiteAssets\/media\/images\/greater-manchester\/news\/2023\/4.png?crop=(0,0,969,375)&amp;w=1024&amp;h=375&amp;scale=both&amp;mode=max\" alt=\"4\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The vehicle Alisha was last seen in &#8211; 2003 gold Volkswagen Passat Saloon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;She was later seen travelling in the same vehicle on Saturday 22 January, leaving Glossop towards Chapel-en-le-Frith in Derbyshire. Alisha has not been seen or heard from since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe need you &#8211; the public &#8211; to cast your minds back to 22 January and following days after, did you see anything suspicious? Did you see Alisha? Have you seen the vehicle in question? Do you know where that vehicle went?
