staff to go on strike this weekend  in dispute over pay and conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Trains workers at Northern Rail are to go on strike this Saturday (24 March) in a row over pay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About 150 workers are involve in the countrywide dispute, which includes Manchester, including the ticket barrier staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mick Lynch, RMT general secretary, said: \u201cOur members are once again taking strike action against a company who has shown no regard for their staff and is not willing to settle this dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe will continue our industrial campaign until we can reach a negotiated settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUltimately, the only, long-term solution is to end contracting out and bring the gate line contract back in house
