A Manchester mental health charity is hosting an online festival to showcase the diversity of culture across Trafford.<\/span><\/p>\n

The #OurTrafford<\/a> festival will be the first of a series of festivals and there are plans to run similar festivals in the boroughs of Stockport, Wigan and Bury in the next two years.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is being supported by the GMCA fund<\/a> and will have a line-up of social media streams, YouTube videos and podcasts, and people are encouraged to get involved by sharing videos and photos.<\/span><\/p>\n

The festival is being organised by mental health charity MancSpirit<\/a>, with founders Paul Ludden and Damian Carr keen for as many people to get involved as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Damian said: \u201cMancSpirit is Greater Manchester\u2019s mental well-being charity, and we know people will find something entertaining, inspiring and encouraging with what\u2019s on offer. <\/span><\/p>\n

Seeing and hearing what\u2019s already coming through has put a huge smile on my face and that\u2019s certainly something we could all do at the moment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul said: \u201cThis is an excellent opportunity for everyone across the borough to share their talents and take part in an inspirational and positive week of creativity. <\/span><\/p>\n

Whether that is exploring the festival throughout the week or by sending in some of your poetry, art, music or anything fun and \u2018creative\u2019.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
