We are looking for high-quality PhD candidates to help us deliver outstanding research that addresses some of the biggest challenges facing contemporary society.

These posts are funded as part of Manchester Metropolitan’s Q-Step Centre. Funded by Nuffield, ESRC and HEFCE, Q-Step is a multi-million investment in the development of undergraduate quantitative methods training. Manchester Metropolitan’s Q-Step Centre is based in the Department of Sociology, within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. It builds on Manchester Metropolitan’s commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
